Fantastic little bakery. Used to visit years ago with my grandad, recently saw they were active on Instagram and had to return to try it. Happened to be the weekend with 2005 prices. Shop was packed, even at 4pm, with a queue still going strong. Staff and service great, cakes are delicious, will return regularly!

Ordered a Birthday cake for my Mum - it was perfect for her. Better than what I had envisaged it to be and tasted delicious. Everything in the shop looks very appetising. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful little bakery with delicious cakes and savories etc... Took my daughter in today, she loved the massive cornflake tart and cheese twist whilst I had a hearty scotch egg, just managing to avoid being tempted by all the sumptuous sweet treats but still nicked a corner of the little one's. 😊 Thoroughly recommended!

Bakery has been best around for years but more so recently i am loving the changes they are making to stay current with their loaded croissants and pistachio brownies!! So good to see them so busy all the time 🥰

I have lived locally for a few years now and I’ve always been curious as regularly seen queues outside. Well now I know why! Incredible selection with your usual cakes and breads but they also do hot cobs and salad boxes with jacket potato’s. I managed to pick up the cream filled iced bun and it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend x

Please be aware this is one of the most visited places in the area for food to go and will be very busy around 12 o'clock. Update: There is a little board on the back wall with post it notes for any one who is having a bad day to get a free drink and cake paid for by kindly customers ! We ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday (I must admit, quite short in advance), we gave some indication about the decorations and the order process was very straight forward. The cake is absolutely stunning and very good too! We’ll definitely order more cakes here in the future!
Best local bakery by far ... I struggle with bread but theirs is so easy for me - Great selection of Cakes and sandwiches!

I needed a iced fruit cake at very short notice and I called The Bakery to see if they could l help me. I called on Monday 25th June, spoke to a lovely lady who assured me that they would be able to have a large (70 servings) fruit cake, fully iced and decorated and ready for me to collect on Thursday 28th June. And they completely nailed it. The cake was stunning to look at and absolutely delicious. So many people kept telling me how lovely it was....and then I tried it.....and it was bloody fantastic. So good, moist and full of fruit. Just perfect. I had tried all the large shops, none could help me at such short notice, but these guys proper stepped up. What a find.
